A parade that went right by my apartment on Bolivar. I lived (I just moved two weeks ago...again) on one of the main streets in the Centro. 

I decided to take a few more snap shots of Cuenca. These are the Escalinatas that I go up and down every day (a nicer pic than my old one). They connect the downtown Cuenca (aka Centro) to the community of Cuenca.
