Beautiful Chicago

I grabbed a book and went down to read by the water on the grass. Did I ever say how much I love this city?

2007 Career Builder Vice President's Club

Welcome to Wisconsin Dells, WI, the land of the waterparks. There were about 150+ of us--all but five I didn't know. This was a four day trip. We drove in three charter buses.

We stayed at the Kalahari, the nicest hotel in Dells Wisconsin.

This is the center room we had which was a part of the master suite (where I slept). Fireplace, cable, fully stocked kitchen--they really spoiled us. One room per person.

I got the master suite allll to myself.

Stuff like this is EVERYWHERE in Wisconsin Dells.

Imagine getting stuck behind this in traffic. Who's idea was this???

Wisconsin Dells wouldn't be Wisconsin Dells without a huge dinosaur coming out of the local convenient store. Yes, this is the cheesiest (no pun intended--we're in WI) city (if that's what I can call it) I've ever been to.

Two headed monster John-Sean (they're our managers) and me and Lisa waiting for Chris Gardner to speak. This is the night of the awards ceremony.

Chris Gardner--the man behind the movie/book "The Pursuit of Happyness". He was our speaker at the awards ceremony. Wow. I found out he was going to be there the same day I finished his book. Double wow.

I have so much respect for this man. What an honor.

Such a good book. The movie doesn't tell it all.
